Founded in 1951, J.D. Gould Company manufactures ISO 9001-certified, custom-designed and stock solenoid valves for commercial and industrial use.  Gould's market strengths include the fabrication and design of stainless steel solenoid valves.  Typical solenoid valve applications may be found in a wide range of industries, including: air pollution, automobile manufacturing, oil refining and processing, textile industry, mining, sewage treatment industry, food processing and industrial equipment and controls.

FTI is assisting Gould's proactive entry into foreign markets by employing the Core 8-Step export management program.   Gould is seeking foreign stocking distributors focused on those industries described above - specifically targeting industries where production and/or product operation require Gould's quality level to ensure purity and/or inhibit corrosion (food processing and sewage treatment, respectively).

Gould's solenoid valves are relied upon worldwide for remote control of liquids, inert gases and steam.  Ranging in size from 1/8" to 3" NPT, these sturdy valves are constructed from:

• Type 303 or 316 Stainless Steel
• Cast Bronze
• Ductile Iron

Handling pressures from 0 to 1200 psi, Gould valves handle fluid temperatures ranging from -40 to + 400 degrees Farenheit.
